PRISONERS UNAWARE

Many people know all too well what element in their environment is making them miserable- pollen, cigarette smoke, a certain food- and endure the discomfort or find ways of avoiding or dealing with it. Others are under par or more seriously ill without knowing the cause, which is often a sensitivity to an unsuspected substance around them, ranging from a favorite food to common household cleaners.

ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE is designed for both the aware and unaware prisoners of the environment. With its help the reader, whether working individually or in a class directed by a health professional, can learn to identify substance sensitivities and to manage them in a variety of ways, from a health- promoting “cleanout” of home or workplace to a carefully determined rotation diet which will pinpoint “hostile” foods and often allow them to be consumed at a safe level.
