Challenging Orthodoxy is a call to the medical establishment to open its collective mind, abandon bias and help build a system in which medicine works to educate and encourage a new era of prevention. America is afflicted by an epidemic of degenerative diseases shared by young and old alike. Preventive medicine and/or integrated complementary health care is virtually absent from today’s health establishment. Though it has become vogue to emphasize diet management and exercise for cholesterol control, a truly preventive, broad-based approach to health care is non-existent.

Fortunately there is a growing body of competent and skilled physician who have gone down the intellectual and clinical path and have begun new and innovative treatments with the ever growing list of chronic, degenerative diseases that have come to plague our country and have failed to respond to standard medical therapies.
